The Leopard List - April 2026

A few things I'm reading, using, thinking about right now. No particular theme, no affiliates. Just what I've been into lately.
Latest attempt to combat the toxins: AquaTru countertop water filter
I have this one, loving it so far. I chose it because Reverse Osmosis (which it uses) is really the best way to get all the baddies out, and they're transparent about testing how their filters perform. You can get a filter that puts the good minerals back, too. Plus it works and I like how the water tastes.
I'm curious about their other products (shower filters, other filter models) so if you've tried them, let me know what you thought.
Reading: 11/22/63 by Stephen King
Just to be clear, I am NOT a horror fan. However, I am a Stephen King fan for all things not horror. I adored Fairy Tale, for example. This is another hit so far (I'm about halfway through) but it is a long one, so buckle up. Premise is that the main character finds he can time travel back to a few years before the JFK assassination, so sets out to see if he can stop it. It's quite a journey.
Following: Niall Harbison / Happy Doggo
Niall decided to leave everything behind, go to Thailand, and devote his life to helping as many dogs as he can. It's pretty awesome. He goes to where the dogs live and feeds them every day, raises money to help the sick and injured ones, has built space around him where he can keep them, facilitates adoptions all over the world. It's very heartwarming to watch. He's on IG here, X here, YouTube here.
Listening: Mt. Wolf
I mostly work solo, so I've needed to expand my range of music to listen to while work. For me, it needs to be limited words, but one can only listen to so much piano and classical (which I also love!). Mt. Wolf is a unique blend of very low tones, interesting rhythmic layers, some unexpected folkiness...explaining music is not my strength. I'm told the genre is "dream-folk" or "indietronica." Whatever we're calling it, I'm in.
Send me an email (jess [at] leopardgoods [dot] com) if you want to talk about any of this or have your own suggestions.
